Following our successful collaboration with RT-Mart on numerous branches, including the Neihu Second Store, the client commissioned our firm to custom-design several key furniture pieces and fixtures frequently utilized across their hypermarkets. After thoroughly gathering and analyzing the operational requirements from various retail locations, we developed the following bespoke furniture and equipment solutions:
1. Self-service area
Because the self-service area consolidates multiple utilities, our objective was to systematize these fixtures through design, transforming what is typically a cluttered space into an organized zone. This design seamlessly integrates functions such as lightbulb testing, automatic tape dispensing, and cardboard box storage. Crafted from a harmonious blend of metal and timber, the station not only enhances customer convenience but also serves as an aesthetically pleasing, decorative feature within the store.
2.Workstation (Service Station)
Engineered to elevate customer service, this workstation seamlessly unifies high-end design with practical utility. Featuring an eye-catching, playful, yet minimalist cylindrical form dressed in a bold red-and-white palette, it ensures maximum visibility. The integration of a folding counter extension cleverly expands the available workspace, while adjustable internal shelving and drawers optimize storage organization. Furthermore, a sleek, metallic signage post is designed with an extendable telescopic mechanism, allowing customers to easily locate the service desk from a distance.
3. Tasting station
Designed to cultivate a superior sampling experience, this tasting station mimics the charming aesthetic of a food truck. The canopy canvas is engineered to be fully detachable and replaceable, allowing the advertising graphics to be swapped seamlessly to match various promotional themes. Additionally, the interior counter features a heavy-duty sliding rail system, enabling the workspace to extend outward to accommodate an integrated merchandise display case. This rich and highly adaptable configuration offers ultimate flexibility to respond to diverse marketing events.
4. Customer seating
Engineered to provide an exceptional resting experience for customers, this public bench unifies dynamic curvilinear silhouettes, superior comfort, and long-lasting durability. The structure features a harmonious combination of stainless steel and warm timber surfaces, supported by a geometric framework composed of interlocking large and small triangles. Thoughtfully integrated with USB charging ports, the bench’s artistic presence and rhythmic lines seamlessly serve as a striking visual accent that punctuate the retail environment.
