The Pingtung Old Distillery Commercial Development Project is strategically located at the intersection of Minzu Road and Ren’ai Road in Pingtung City. This commercial real estate venture is invested in and developed by Pinchuan International Development Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Shandi Group.
The design concept is derived from Pingtung’s majestic natural topography—bounded by Mount Dawu to the north and embraced by the ocean on its eastern, western, and southern horizons, boasting a rich bounty of ecological and landscape resources. Translating this dialogue between mountains and waters, the architectural composition utilizes interlocking, staggered massing balanced with the virtual-and-real contrast of glass curtain walls and solid planes, sculpting a unique exterior vocabulary that mimics cascading waterfalls weaving through rugged cliffs. Furthermore, balconies integrated with lush landscaping are strategically interspersed to evoke the imagery of stepping stones and verdant forests, infusing this commercial edifice with the vibrant energy of nature while encapsulating the pure beauty of Pingtung.
